Dripping Rock Hike

This summer we want to shar with you some of the hikes that we go on.

Today we went to the Dripping Rock Trail, it is a very enjoyable hike at the mouth of spanish fork canyon and it is perfect for anyone because it is paved, yep that’s right you can bring the stroller.

I would suggest wearing a pair of shorts or a swimsuit and some water shoes because you will most likely end up trying out the water.

Rain boots are also a good choice 😉

As we walked today there were so many different butterflies and all of the kids had fun trying to catch them.

If you continue the trail about 100 yards or so up there is a cement barrier that the kids were determined to play on, this water was a bit deeper so keep a close eye on the kids here, plus there is a lot of graffiti here (just a heads up)

We also saw a water snake in the water, that’s when it was time to leave 😉

So grab a backpack with some snack and drinks, some towels, and some water shoes and head on over to this trail.

To find this hike just park at the parking lot near spanish oaks golf course. From the trail head you will cross the bridge over the creek, take a left and go through the tunnel, and follow the trail up to the junction, take the first left and follow the paved path along the river.
