We always see these wafers done up all cute for Valentine’s. So we wanted to see if we could do a different version for St. Patricks day.
Start off with the basics….. wafers- almond bark or white melting chocolate/chips. Now we found the almond bark when mixed with the either the gel or liquid version of food coloring it solidifies the bark. When mixed with enough vegetable oil it makes it usable. However the easier version is the white chocolate chips.
Then starting with one color at a time we drizzled it on the wafers (using small ziplock bags with corner cut) lined up on wax paper.
My favorite part is the gold sprinkles for our “pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow.
